How to use LUTs in Affinity Photo

Quick answer
In Affinity Photo 2 or the new Affinity app, click the Adjustments icon in the Layers panel, choose LUT, click Load LUT…, select the .cube file, and lower the layer opacity to soften the look.

Step by step
Add a LUT adjustment
In the Layers panel, click the Adjustments icon and choose LUT.
Load the LUT
Click Load LUT… and select a .cube file.
Blend
Lower the layer opacity to taste.
